OPEN SOURCE DESIGNS

As part of our ongoing commitment to both circularity & community we create some of our designs with the intention of making them open source. Good design should be accessible and while this is a small step toward that, we feel it’s a step in the right direction.

Our philosophy is this: easy to make designs centered around readily accessible repurposed materials constructed with minimal out of pocket costs to you. Building something yourself is empowering. And building from what’s already available helps us all.

For the unfamiliar, tool libraries are places where people can rent or borrow tools for low or no cost. Below is a link to the most expansive tool library locator we can find. As a studio, part of our future plan is to offer a full tool library. For now we can assist with in house tools, wood cutting and instruction by appointment.
